An standing fan with open rotor and backward-curved blades, designed for transporting a mixture of air and solid fraction.
Dobierz wentylatorCharacteristic
Transport fans are designed to handle a mixture of air and solids in such a way as to prevent the material being transported from adhering to the rotor and interfering with the fan's operation. The design of the fans varies, depending on the material to be transported, in order to maximise the operating efficiencies which can be as high as 76% for some models.
These fans can be successfully used in systems with pneumatic transport of mixtures with a solid fraction density up to 300g/m3 and even higher, above 500 g/m3, but in such cases prior consultation is recommended.
Transport fans are available in an standing version with a classic design and are suitable for both outdoor and indoor installation.
Advantages:
- modular, sturdy and airtight construction
- direct drive
- single inlet
- open rotor with blades fixed on one side and unbound on the other side (made from high-strength steel grades)
Transported materials include: dust, chips, woodchips, cement, grain, small plastic particles, short swarf.
The direct drive fan has a number of advantages that make it the most preferred solution on the market. First and foremost, it is appreciated for its simplified design, which means greater reliability and lower maintenance requirements. Thanks to the direct connection between the motor and the rotor, the fan offers a high level of efficiency and reliable long-term operation.
Our fans can be adapted to ATEX requirements for zones 21, 22, 1 and 2, both when the explosion hazard zone occurs inside and outside the fan.
All of our ATEX version fans comply with Directive 2014/34/EU and are designed in accordance with PN-EN 14986:2017-02 “Design of fans operating in potentially explosive atmospheres”, which guarantees the highest level of safety and reliability in the most demanding conditions.
The pneumatic transport of a mixture of air and solid fractions is often an individual issue, especially if the solid bodies tend to “wrap around”. In these cases a consultation is recommended concerning the transport of particular materials, in order to optimise the choice of a fan with the best possible efficiency.
