YES! Provided we choose the fan and noise-reducing accessories correctly.
One waste sorting plant in Germany uses our UL-SFN fan with an output of 30 kW and V=40,000 m3/h at p=1900Pa. The fan is equipped with a soundproofed housing, motor and silencer at the outlet.
With this solution, we achieved an optimum noise level of less than 75 dB. And most importantly: complete customer satisfaction!
Another way to significantly reduce fan noise is to place the fan in a special sound-absorbing cabin.
A recent design of a 30 kW ATEX fan with vibration sensors, placed in a cabin, resulted in a noise reduction of 20 dB!
This solution has translated into a definite improvement in the working conditions at the client’s site.
