Aid to Ukraine
At the request of the Marshal's Office of the Opole Voivodeship, several companies, including NETECS, donated building materials and equipment for the renovation of the educational room "Ognik" at the Regional Headquarters of the State Fire Service in Ivano-Frankivsk, Ukraine.
Due to the ongoing war, one of the many tasks of Ukrainian firefighters is to educate children and young people not only about fire emergencies, but also about the threats associated with warfare.
At the moment there are 130,000 internally displaced persons from other areas of Ukraine residing in the Ivano-Frankivsk region of Ukraine.
The fire headquarters is visited by approximately 300 to 400 children every week.
This is where warm-up points are organised for the people of the region - the so called 'Invincibility Tents', where the children can shelter.
